The medical-grade micro-needles of the Dermaroller® are atraumatic cone-shaped needles that displace the skin during the puncture process, creating a micro-wound that seals within minutes of treatment. Where other scar and anti-aging treatments are ablative (destroying tissue), the Dermaroller® respects the integrity of the epidermis and dermis, using atraumatic perforations to gently trigger the generation of new tissue.

Optimal needle count is paramount in safe and effective treatment. Don’t be misled by imitation rollers that boast “the most needles”. Though we want to maximize the number of perforations, too many needles compromise the safety and comfort of the treatment. The Dermaroller® employs the optimal number of needles to maximize effectiveness, safety and comfort.

The original micro-needling manual roller is made of precision medical-grade stainless steel micro-needles which penetrate the outer skin layer (epidermis), allowing up to 80% more product into the skin. This 162-needle roller has 0.2mm needle length and will improve skin texture and glow. The Dermaroller® home care rollers are durable and can be used 3 times a week for up to one year.
