About Medical Micro Needling
REGEN AESTHETICS offers medical micro needling therapy which is perhaps one of the most successful treatments available for the common signs and symptoms of aging such as wrinkles, loss of skin volume, and crepey skin. The eDermastamp electrical micro-needling system uses atraumatic precision cone-shaped micro needles that are sterilely packaged and made of medical-grade stainless steel.
Medical micro needling therapy is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). This therapy triggers the body’s own healing process, stimulating cell proliferation and initiating the formation of new collagen. This results in a thicker and more supple cellular matrix, which gives visibly younger looking skin.
Medical micro needling therapy causes minimally invasive precision micro-injuries of the epidermis and dermis, without causing open wounds or ablative damage. The puncturing channels close after a short time and these micro-injuries trigger the body’s wound healing cascade, which induces an increased collagen production in the treated skin.
The micro-needling provides direct infusion of one of two natural products:
- Hyaluronic Acid (Hyal) – Hyal is a substance that is naturally present in the human body and it works by acting as a cushion and lubricant in the tissues. It is often applied to the skin for healing wounds, burns, skin ulcers, and as a moisturizer.
- Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) – PRP is blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. As a concentrated source of platelets, PRP contains several different growth factors that stimulates healing of soft tissue.
Medical micro needling therapy triggers the construction of new tissue by stimulating healthy cell regeneration in precision-targeted areas that show the signs of aging. It effectively reduces wrinkles, improves skin tone and texture, tightens and thickens the skin, and – perhaps most impressively – fills and smooths scars.
REGEN AESTHETICS medical micro needling therapy is available not only to women, but also to discerning men. For optimal results, it is recommended to do a series of 3 treatments, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart.
